What Can I Recycle?

Acceptable Items

  • Glass Bottles & Jars (All colors)
  • Steel Cans
  • Aluminum Cans & Cups
  • Plastic Bottles: Such as milk jugs, soda bottles, laundry detergent bottles, water bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.
  • Plastic Tubs:  Containers for butter, sour cream, yogurt & jello would fall into the tub category. 
  • Plastic Cups: Fast food beverage cups - no straws– colored party cups are not accepted.
  • Plastic Clam Shell Style Containers - Such as to-go containers, berry containers, etc. 
  • Paper: newspaper, magazines, cardboard, mixed office paper and envelopes, paperboard, pizza boxes, etc.
  • Paper Cups (remove/discard lids, straws and stoppers) 
  • Cartons: Food and beverage cartons, such as milk, juice, soup, wine, broth, etc.

 

Recycling Tips

  • No separation required
  • Items must be clean & dry
  • Break down cardboard boxes
  • No plastic bags, including trash bags
  • Do not leave anything on the ground.

Hefty ReNew™ Program
